Connie Griffin
Family Nurse Practitioner

Connie Griffin

ACNP, FNP

Connie Griffin began her nursing career in 1985 after earning her Associate Degree in Nursing. She spent the next decade in high acuity settings including the ER, L&D, ICU, and Med/Surg. She advanced her training with a Master's in Acute Care from Vanderbilt University in 1999 and a Post Master's Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2002. For approximately 10 years, she worked in ERs in Columbia and Nashville.

Connie worked as a hospitalist for an orthopedic group in Franklin, Tennessee before transitioning to urgent care in 2011. In 2013, she and her husband founded the Walk In Medical Clinic of Linden, where she cared for her community for nearly a decade before selling the clinic in 2022. She still works 2 days a week.

Outside of work, Connie serves as President of Buddy's Rescue. She enjoys tending her flower farm at Cedar Porch Farm, spending time with her grandchildren and cheering them on at their activities, and traveling whenever she can.

Kerri Garrison
Family Nurse Practitioner

Kerri Garrison

Kerri is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong foundation in primary care. She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Northeast Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mississippi University for Women. She spent seven years working as a registered nurse in primary care, where she developed a passion for patient-centered care and building lasting relationships with her patients.

She later obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from Austin Peay State University and has since practiced as a Family Nurse Practitioner for the past eight years, continuing her work in primary care. Her clinical experience and commitment to helping others allow her to provide compassionate, comprehensive care to individuals and families across all stages of life.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially cheering on her kids at their sporting events. She is deeply committed to making a positive impact in her community through both her professional and personal life.

Kenisha Hester
Family Nurse Practitioner

Kenisha Hester

Kenisha earned her Associate's Degree in Nursing from Columbia State Community College in 2010, her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Middle Tennessee State University in 2012, and her Master's Degree in Nursing from Tennessee State University in 2016. With over a decade of experience in family practice, she is committed to advancing patient outcomes by identifying the root causes of illness and delivering care through a comprehensive, holistic approach.

In addition to her primary role, Kenisha has expertise in medical dermatology and provides part-time care managing a wide range of dermatologic conditions. She is dedicated to delivering personalized, high-quality care that supports the overall health and well-being of her patients.

Outside of the clinic, Kenisha enjoys spending time with her family and going to the river.

Stephanie Kennedy-Southall
Family Nurse Practitioner

Stephanie Kennedy-Southall

MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Stephanie is a dedicated nurse practitioner with a strong background in both specialty and primary care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Tennessee at Martin and went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing at Austin Peay State University.

Her clinical career began in the cardiac catheterization lab, where she developed a deep foundation in cardiovascular care. She later advanced her expertise as a cardiac nurse practitioner, providing specialized care to patients with complex heart conditions. Building on this experience, she transitioned into rural healthcare, where she served as a nurse practitioner for four years, delivering compassionate, comprehensive care to underserved communities.

She is committed to improving patient outcomes through personalized, evidence-based care and values building lasting relationships with her patients.

Outside of her professional work, she enjoys cheering on the UT Volunteers and spending time on the Tennessee River with her family.

Andrea DeWinter

Andrea is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with 20 years of healthcare experience. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Michigan, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and has dedicated her career to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to patients across a variety of healthcare settings.

Andrea's healthcare career began as a registered nurse, with extensive experience in critical care and cardiovascular intensive care. Since becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner, she has practiced in urgent care, family medicine, and hospital medicine, caring for patients across the lifespan. Her broad clinical background allows her to evaluate and treat a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions while emphasizing patient education and shared decision-making.

Originally from West Michigan, Andrea and her husband relocated to Perry County, Tennessee, in 2021 and quickly fell in love with the area's natural beauty, strong sense of community, and rural way of life. She is passionate about serving the healthcare needs of the community she now calls home.

Outside of work, Andrea enjoys spending time with her family, including her four adult children, husband, two dogs, and four cats. She loves music and can often be found playing guitar or singing for fun. When she's not caring for patients, she enjoys kayaking, off-road adventures, and tending to her ever-growing collection of houseplants.

Andrea is committed to providing personalized, high-quality healthcare and believes that every patient deserves to be heard, respected, and actively involved in their healthcare decisions. She is honored to serve the patients and families of Perry and surrounding counties, and looks forward to helping them achieve their health and wellness goals.

Elizabeth Paschall

Elizabeth completed her RN at Columbia State Community College in 1991, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2009, and her Master of Science in Nursing from East Tennessee State University in 2011.

She brings an exceptional depth of clinical experience to her role, having worked 10+ years in Home Health and 30+ years at Perry Community Hospital before its closure. Her wealth of knowledge and dedication make her an invaluable part of our team.

Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys cooking, jigsaw puzzles, murder mysteries, and a good road trip — but most of all, spending time with her family.

Justin Marshall

Justin Marshall was born and raised in Linden, Tennessee, where he has remained deeply connected to his community. In 2022, he acquired The Walk-In Medical Clinic of Linden and has since expanded his impact by purchasing Averett Medical Group and merging the two practices. Through this growth, Justin has remained focused on his mission to give back to the community that shaped him.

He is passionate about ensuring that local residents have access to high-quality, compassionate healthcare provided by people they know and trust. Justin is committed to creating a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and cared for close to home.

In his free time, Justin enjoys spending time with his family, as well as hunting, fishing, golfing, and cheering on Tennessee football.

  • Messages left before 12 PM (Monday–Friday) will be taken care of the same day.

  • Messages left after 12 PM will be taken care of by the next business day before 12 PM.

  • Saturday calls will be taken care of by 12 PM on Monday.
